Get Baptized
The next step in your life as a believer is to be baptized in water. Water Baptism is an outward expression of your decision to follow Jesus and a subsequent act of faith. Once we accept Jesus and the free gift of forgiveness that only He offers, we’re invited to respond in baptism by going underwater (representing the old “you” being buried) and coming up (representing the new “you” being raised to new life with Jesus Christ).
Romans 6:4 (NIV)
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
